"Let us not become weary in doing good, for al the proper time we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers." --Galatians 6:9-10
Harmony's Mission includes the following:
Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard (Monthly statistics can be found on the Info Center/Opportunities and Announcements page)
Blessing Bags (collected in October for the Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard)
City Rescue Mission of New Castle and the Hope Place (canned goods/cleaning supplies in the spring, school suppies-in August, Christmas gifts for men and women in late November)
Vacation Bible School (lead by Child Evangelism of Butler County)
Mission Speakers (from Sierra Leone-Fintonia, SERVE, Cru, CCO, Hope for Renewal-Youngstown, City Rescue Mission, Seneca Hills Bible Camp & Retreat Centeer, Feed My Sheep, Promise of Life Network, and Child Evangelism of Butler County)
Mission Offerings - (These will be received on the second Sunday of each month, except for the months including Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. 100% of these gifts go to meeting our mission goals in our Mission Budget. Please use the Mission Offering envelopes inserted in your giving packets. If you did not receive envelopes and would like to, please contact the church office.)
Eyeglass Ministry - (Please collect used eyeglasses, frames and eyeglass cases for the eye glass ministry by Meeting God-in-Missions in the Dominican Republic and Haiti. This is a very worthwhile, appreciated and much needed ministry among the indigent peoples of these countries done in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. There is a container located on the small wooden table in the Fellowship Hall marked for this purpose.)
